First, an admission. I think I look terrible in a polo. I think it's just the length or lack thereof of my torso. Unless I've got high waisted pants on—and sometimes I do—it makes me look like a child. And so what I do, is, rarely wear a polo to play golf, unless I have to, because of a club's dress code. And when that happens, I usually, regardless of weather, throw a long-sleeved layer on over top. When it's hot, I remind myself that the right style comes at a price. When it's cold, I feel vindicated.
